Three Peaks Training Courses 2010.

Merseyventure have announced dates for a series of 3 Peaks Challenge training courses for 2010. As ever, these events are free to enter for Team Leaders taking part in Merseyventure Challenges, and discounted by 50% for other team members. Those not taking part in Merseyventure events are more than welcome to attend, and prices start from just £35 per person.

This is your opportunity to visit the areas before your challenge, find out where to park, where to walk, what facilities are available, how difficult it may be to locate in the dark, and of course - what it's actually like to walk...

You will be accompanied by very experienced Merseyventure staff and mountain guides, who have completed the challenge many times. You will be able to ask any questions about navigation, safety, planning, etc., and we will show you all of the important navigational features, tip and tricks.

We also offer the option of a guided night-time ascent of Scafell Pike - well worth attending if you are going to be arriving at 2am on your Three Peaks Challenge. This can be a very disorientating area in poor visibility.

Ben Nevis - 2nd - 5th April 2010
Scafell Pike - 10th - 11th April 2010
Snowdon - 27th - 28th March 2010
