Open Bus Three Peaks Challenge 2010

Since 2000, Merseyventure have been organising Open Bus Challenges for literally hundreds of walkers who want to attempt the national Three Peaks Challenge - but don't have enough other willing friends to make up a group themselves.

For the first few years, we used our faithful Bongo Bus - which although being retired in 2005 is still going strong, and can often be seen camped up in north Wales, Derbyshire or the Lakes...

The concept of the 'Open Bus Three Peaks Challenge' was not unique, but the event name 'Open Bus' and 'Bongo Bus' were synonymous with Merseyventure. Our groups knew they were going to get honest, reliable, professional service - with a humerous and knowledgable crew with a real 'can do' ethos.

A huge amount of our clients were (are very much still are) referred from previous challengers that had used our services. Unfortunately, we have never been very much into visual promotion (despite MANY companies and clients advising us we should promote ourselves with logo's, corporate uniforms, vehicle livery, etc) and as such until you hop aboard the bus and meet the staff - you wouldn't know we were there...!!!

The image above is from a private event for Coca-Cola UK in October 2009 - can you see our corporate image on vehicle, driver, or mountain staff? Enough said...

As we don't advertise, our main point of contact is from our website: http://users.tinyonline.co.uk/richieev/tp/ which is shown high on the Google listings for Three Peaks Challenge.

Recently, we have been recieving more and more complaints from people that have booked a space on an 'Open Bus Three Peaks Challenge' only to be sadly let down on the event itself, or when waiting to be collected from the airport. Well - it's not us..! Every complaint has led back to other companies 'selling' Open Bus Three Peaks Challenges, then over booking, not turning up, having no drivers, having sad old vehicles with no VOSA licence, etc...

The vast majority of popular weekends for our Three Peaks services are now nearly fully booked for 2010, but if you want to book an authentic Open Bus Three Peaks Challenge, from Merseyventure - then please ensure you book it with us....!

Email me at richie@merseyventure.com and don't fill in online forms which send your details off into hyperspace - these are nothing to do with us.

We have VOSA and local authority licensed vehicles and professional drivers, qualified and insured mountain guides, and trained support staff. We have 10 years of experience, and we won't let you down.

Often copied - never bettered.

Please don't be the next person to send me an email complaining about a service which has nothing to do with Merseyventure :-(
